1. The drugs people take have been known to contribute to incidents of hypothyroidism. For instance, drugs used in treating extreme depression and mood swings have been known to reduce the amount of thyroxine produced by the thyroid gland. 3. Weight loss diets. If you are willing to lose weight, it is a good thing. But when you have to go the extreme, then you can be sure kit will adversely affect your health. How To Keep Your Shoulder’s Rotator Cuff From Harm When Exercising

And recall that shoulders are extremely prone to injury. So here is how to prevent your shoulders from being in danger:
1. Press in moderation: If you find yourself bench pressing a couple times a week, please stop. This is critical, especially if you have a desk job, to maintain shoulder health. Bench pressing shortens the same muscles that are already shortened by the seated position.
2. Work your back till the cows come home: To counterbalance the shortening of your pushing muscles, you should work your back hard. Row, row and row some more for best results. Rowing motions will work the muscles that become long and weak while working from a computer.
3. Only do overhead presses if necessary: Everybody is born with a different type of acromion, a bone that rests on top of your shoulder tendons. If you have the type that is downward sloping, you are more at risk for pinching your rotator cuff tendons. Thus, I strongly recommend doing overhead presses only if absolutely necessary for your particular goal.
4. Massage your chest: This is a great way to reverse the tightness and shortness that results from being in the seated position all day. The key here is to make sure it’s a deep tissue massage for maximum effectiveness. By loosening up the chest fibers, your shoulders will retract and your rotator cuff will have more space.
Now great care has to be taken with the shoulder joint because it has such a great range of motion. So please do not take the advice in this article lightly!
