Is Your Motivation Beginning To Fade Into Oblivion?

You can have the perfect workout routine and you can have the perfect diet, but if your mental game isn’t in place you will eventually fail.

And most people do not have an action plan in place to help them reach peak mental performance.

So here are 6 ways to get your mind in the weight loss zone:

1. Don’t wing it: You need to record the progress you are making. If you don’t do this you will tend to overlook your accomplishments as you look back on what you have done. And nothing is worse than short handing yourself.

2. Don’t expect a clean ride: In fact, as you lose more weight you will suffer more setbacks. This is just a simple law in nature. The highest performers have the highest rates of failure. So the key here is to expect failure and embrace it.

3. Focus on changing your surroundings: You need to do this before you focus on how to change yourself. You see, changing your surroundings is much easier than whipping yourself into change. Moreover, the momentum from changing your environment will help you change yourself.

4. Make your goals very big: Big goals lead to big motivation, while small goals lead to small motivation. So always have an enormous goal that gives you the motivation to break down mountains. As always, however, make sure your short term goals are realistic.

5. Don’t beat yourself into action: Although this strategy may work in the short term, in the long term it will drain you of the will to move forward. Instead, motivate yourself by moving towards something positive, don’t run away from something negative.

6. Avoid baby steps: The only time you should reduce the amount of work you are doing is when you feel absolutely overwhelmed. You see, if you take too many baby steps you won’t see fast results. And in the absence of results you are more likely to jump ship.

A solid plan for long term motivation is a critical component for long term success. So don’t just sit on this information, take action now!
